Granville West wins NISE Innovator of the Quarter Award for the South East Coast Region

Grenville Weston has won the Innovator of the Quarter award for his continuing innovative work in the use of antibiotic monitoring

Grenville Weston, Principal Pharmacist for Information & Modernisation at the Trust was presented with his award by David Lubega Senior Innovation Manager of NHS Innovations South East at a special event with the Trust Board of East Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust.  He received £500 which he will use towards the further development of the eMicro software.

Irene Dibben, Chairman East Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust said, ”As the NHS celebrate its 60^th anniversary it would not be the organisation it is today without the innovation of its staff.  In the past, some of this innovation has gone unrecognised.  So it is particularly pleasing that a member of our staff has received external recognition for their innovation.  Progress and improvement is made through innovation and I hope this award will give encouragement for others to come forward with innovative ideas for the future.”
